This beak-shaped 1-1/2"- 65 plant on/applied mould measures 1.500" wide by .750" thickness, requiring a 1-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The opulent profile contains a 3/32" cove joined to a 1/16" wide fillet on the top left. The short line connects to a 27/64" convex arc merged with a 17/32" concave semicircle, creating the center's beak shape, attached to a 3/32" vertical step with a 1/4" round-over on the design's right side.
Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
