This fancy applied moulding 1-5/8" - 8 measures 1.625" in width by .688 in thickness, requiring a 1-7/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. The decorative plant on profile comprises a 3/16" cove at a 3/16" thickness, joined to a 1/8" horizontal fillet on the top left. The short line connects to a 1/4" radius convex arc tangent to a 3/8" concave semicircle forming the s-shaped curvature in the center. The curvilinear attaches to a 3/32" by 3/32" notch joined to a 1/2" broad cong'e derived from a 5/16" cove, leaving a 1/8" thickness on the design's right edge.
