This unique plant on moulding 2" - 15 measures two inches wide by 1.031" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of five-quarter lumber. It is composed of a 45/64" wide thumbnail shaped half round bead with a 1/16" rounded edge fillet and a 19/64" cove on the left. The middle consists of a 1/16" broad line segment, connected to a two tangent radius scotia that joins to a two tangent radius cyma reversa with a 3/64" eased edge on the right side of the design. The unique profile is generally applied to a piece of hand-crafted furniture.
