This beautifying picture rail moulding 2" - 47 measures 2.000" width by .750" thickness permitting the use of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial-grade molder. The enhanced profile contains a 1/8" tall vertical line joined to a 5/16" broad three-quarter circle on the top left. The semicircular bead attaches a 3/4" horizontal line segment in the center, bound to a 25/64" concave semicircle tangent to a 9/32" convex quarter-round arc creating the s-shaped curvature on the right side of the design.
Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
