This elegant 2" - 53 picture rail moulding measures 2.000" width by 1.125" thickness, necessitating the use of five or six-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The affluent profile contains a 1/8" tall vertical line joined to a two tangent radius elliptical-shaped cove for the mounting hooks on the left. The graceful arc is tangent to three concave semicircles creating the downward swoop in the center. It's attached to a 1/8" vertical drop in elevation with a 1/8" quarter round bead and a 1/8" flat line leaving a 1/8" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
