This small plant on/applied moulding 5/8" - 17 measure .625" in width by .500" in thickness, requiring 1-11/16" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber for machining with industrial machinery. This unique split-two applied profile utilizes fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time. The pattern composes a 5/16" broad flat line with a 3/32" vertical step on the top left edge. It connects to a 13/32" convex arc on the right side of the design.
Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. For safety concerns, we strongly suggest an anti-kickback device for your machinery before attempting any milling procedures that involve splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
