Raised Panel Moulding 1-11/16"

This raised panel moulding measures 1-11/16" in detail only. The pattern is designed to be cut on a shaper with the panel standing vertically on edge. It could also be milled on an industrial moulder, but it would require two top spindles to accomplish this design. The first cutter head would mill to finish thickness; the second cutter head would mill only the profile. In general, panel widths would be too large to accomplish this task on a moulder. A shaper may be the only option. The depth of cut is too large to safely mill this detail from the side, with the panel laying horizontally on the bedplate.
