WP-9 Shiplap Moulding 5-7/16" - 5

This WP-9 shiplap siding molding 5-7/16" - 5 measures 5.437" wide by .718" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined out of four quarter lumber. This detail is often referred to as the Boston shiplap, it is comprised of a 25/64" radius on each side edge on the exposed face with a 9/16" wide line segment attached on the male side on the left, the tapered rabbet on the backside measures 1/2" wide by 23/64" tall. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together they create an exposed face dimension of 4-15/16" wide including the 1/16" wide sunk fillet between the radiuses of the joined boards.
