This 6-1/2" - 1 shiplap siding measures 6.500" wide by .750" thickness. The profile section measures 1-3/4" wide, 5/8" is hidden under the rabbet milled on the opposite side edge. When two pieces of finished milled lumber are joined together, they will create a 1-1/8" wide channel on one face side of the joined boards, the beveled edge positioned on one side of the track in the above image will allow moisture to run off.
