Shiplap Siding 6-3/4"

This 6-3/4" shiplap siding measures 6.750" width by .625" thickness, enabling a 7" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The simplistic profile comprises a 5-7/8" flat line segment with 5/16" radius edges on the top center. The inner round-over connects to a 3/8" broad fillet joined to a 1/2" long tapered five-degree line, so it fits into the 5/16" tall by 1/2" wide rabbet on the opposite side. When two pieces of lumber get assembled, they create a face coverage dimension of 6-1/4" wide.
