This 7" - 2 log cabin siding measures 7.000" wide by 1.500" thick overall, requiring the use of eight quarter-lumber pieces for milling on a commercial-grade molder. For installation planning purposes, the face coverage dimension is 6-1/2" full when assembled. The half log-shaped profile is composed of a 7-27/64" radius semicircular convex arc on the top. The left side retains a 9/16" wide by 1/2" tall rabbet on the bottom; the opposite side consists of a 1/2" wide by 1/2" tall plow on the face side. When two pieces of milled lumber get joined, they create a 6-1/2" face exposure on top and a 1/16" channel on the bottom.
