This resawn shiplap siding 7-1/8" - 13 measures 7.125" wide by 1.500" thickness, permitting the use of rough six or eight quarter lumber. The profile is composed of an 11/32" tall by 1/2" wide rabbet on both the top and bottom side edge of the design with a 1/8" wide off-centered v-groove. After the milling process, this v-notch is used as a guide to re-saw the block of lumber into two pieces of 7-1/8" wide by 1-1/16" thick rough-faced siding, the detail transitions from 1-1/16" on the taller side to 11/32" on the thin side of the resawn plank.
