This butt joint 3/4" - 15 shiplap siding measures .750" in thickness, the width can be machined to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to mill the pattern. The profile comprises two 3/8" tall by 1/2" wide rabbets, one positioned on the face side of the board and the other on the backside. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a simple butt joint closing both face sides of the merged boards.
