T-Astragal 1-1/4" - 3
This exterior door t-astragal 1-1/4" - 3 measures 1.250" wide by 3.000" tall, enabling the detail to be machined out of six-quarter lumber. The profile consists of a double ovolo top separated by a 5/8" broad line segment on top, one side of the pattern is rabbeted 1-3/4" wide by 1/8" deep, the opposite side is rabbeted 2-1/8" wide by 5/16" deep. The weatherstrip groove would have to be milled on a universal spindle on a molder during production or on a table saw after milling. The acrylic templates are designed for milling up to 3-1/2" tall, requiring three profiling cutter heads to produce this product on an industrial molder, right, top & bottom spindle positions.
