This exterior door t-astragal 1-1/2" - 2 measures 1.500" wide by 3.187" tall, requiring the pattern to be milled from eight-quarter lumber. The functional profile is composed of a 1-3/8" elevated vertical line with a 1/8" eased edge on the top left, the lower rabbet dimension is 1-13/16" tall by 1/2" wide, the center also measures 1/2" wide with 1/16" rounded edges, the right side consists of a 1-1/8" elevated vertical line with a 1/8" radius edge on top, joined to a 2-1/16" tall by 1/2" deep rabbet, the saw kerf for the weather stripping is machined by either a universal cutter head on the molder or by a table saw after the machining process.
