This traditional tongue & groove one inch - 10 measures 1.000" in thickness, allowing random width blanks of five-quarter lumber for machining on a commercial moulder. The simplistic centered profile comprises a 5/16" wide by 5/16" tall tongue & groove leaving 11/32" above and below the joint. There is a .012" void in the joint when assembled for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. We offer an additional butt-joint profile in identical thickness for review and consideration, tongue & groove 1" - 4.
Our purple-colored ceramic blend grinding wheel hogging steel at 2000 rpm with a twenty-five-degree back clearance angle will rough grind this set of cutters in a minimal amount of time.
