This hefty 2" - 9 tongue & groove butt joint decking measures 2.000" thickness, necessitating using ten-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The width is adjustable to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The simplistic profile is composed of a 1/2" wide by 1/2" tall tongue and groove flanked by 3/4" tall line segments. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together; they create a simplistic butt joint. There is a .015" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
