This hefty 2" - 9 tongue & groove butt joint decking measures 2.000" thickness, necessitating the use of ten-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The width is adjustable to any desired size within the machinery's cutting parameters. The simplistic profile comprises a 1/2" wide by 1/2" tall tongue and groove flanked by 3/4" tall line segments. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a simplistic butt joint. There is a .015" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
