Tongue & Groove 3-3/8" - 7

This tongue & groove ceiling molding 3-3/8" - 7 measures 3.375" thickness, the width can be machined to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to mill the pattern. The bulky profile is composed of two 13/32" tall by 5/16" deep grooves divided by a 47/64" tall line segment, with a small nail groove area for hiding fasteners used to secure the wood to the framework, and a 1/4" wide by 1/4" tall beveled edge. The opposite side consists of two 3/8" tall by 1/4" wide tongue's with a 1/4" wide groove also used to conceal fasteners with a 1/4" wide by 1/4" deep chamfer on the face side. When two planks of milled lumber are joined together they create a decorative 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep v-groove on the face side of the ceiling visible from the room below, there is .031" of void in the joint for expansion and contraction of the lumber during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
