Tongue & Groove 3-1/2"

This 3-1/2" dual-purpose beadboard/v-joint tongue & groove measures 3.750" in width by .625" in thickness; the face coverage dimension is 3.500" wide. The two-sided profile composes a 1/2" v-groove with a 1/4" wide recessed (.015") center bead. It's flanked by two 1-1/4" broad line segments on the top. The bottom face retains a 1/8" wide v-groove milled with the right & left vertical cutter heads. This enables the pattern to change widths, but only without the other face milled with a profile. There is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. We offer a similar profile with only a single face at a 1/2" thickness dimension for your review and consideration, tongue & groove 3.500" - 11. We recommend using four-inch wide blanks of four-quarter lumber from milling with commercial machinery.
