Tongue & Groove 4-1/2"

This attractive 4-1/2" tongue & groove siding measures 4.687" width by .562" thickness. The overall size allows for a 4-15/16" wide blank of resawn six-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The embellishing profile contains a 7/32" wide by 3/16" tall groove on the right and a 3/16" wide by 5/32" tall tongue on the left. There is a .015" void in the joint for seasonal changes in relative humidity. The symmetrical top & bottom retain a 1/8" wide chamfer on each side edge. The slight angles connect to a two-inch broad line with a 1/4" v-groove in the center. When two pieces of milled lumber merge, they create a 4-1/2" face coverage dimension with three 1/4" wide v-grooves on each face side on the paneling.
