Tongue & Groove 4-1/2" - 3

This 4-1/2" - 3 beadboard paneling measures 4.625" width by .375" thickness. The overall size allows for a 4-7/8" wide blank of resawn four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The elegant profile contains a 5/32" wide by 1/8" tall groove on the right and a 1/8" wide by 1/8" tall tongue on the left. There is a .008" void in the tongue & groove joint area for seasonal changes in relative humidity. The top comprises a recessed (.015") 1/4" wide half-circle joined to a 1/8" angled line on the left. The forty-five-degree bevel connects to a 4" flat section in the center with another 1/8" chamfer on the design's right side. When two pieces of milled lumber merge, they create a 4-1/2" face coverage dimension with a 1/2" wide beaded v-groove on one face.
