Tongue & Groove 4-1/2" - 4

This tongue & groove 4-1/2" - 4 beadboard paneling measures 4.687" width by .375" thickness. The overall size allows for a 4-15/16" wide blank of resawn four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The wainscot profile contains a 13/64" wide by 7/64" tall groove with a 1/16" chamfered edge on the right and a 3/16" wide by 7/64" tall tongue with another 1/16" chamfer on the left. There is a .006" void in the tongue & groove joint area for seasonal changes in relative humidity. The top retains a recessed (.032") 3/16" wide half-circle flanked by a 1/8" forty-five-degree angle on the left. This area joins a 1-13/16" wide flat section with a 7/16" beaded channel in the center and another 1-13/16" flat portion to a 1/8" chamfered edge above the groove on the design's right side. When two pieces of milled lumber merge, they create a 4-1/2" face coverage dimension with symmetrical 7/16" beaded v-grooves on one face side and a 1/8" v-shaped channel on the opposite side.
