Tongue & Groove 4-1/2" - 6

This reeded 4-1/2" - 6 tongue & groove door panel measures 4.812" width by 1.062" thickness. The overall size allows a 5-1/16" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The elegant profile contains a 5/16" wide by 3/8" tall tongue & groove; the top radial cutter head on the moulder controls the void in the joined area for seasonal changes in relative humidity. The detail comprises four 7/8" wide convex semicircular arcs divided by four 1/4" broad sunk fillets. When two pieces of milled lumber merge, they create a 4-1/2" face coverage dimension with a reeded pattern on both face sides of the boards.
