This 5" - 14 tongue & groove paneling will also be referred to as beadboard. It measures 5-1/4" wide by 3/4" thick, the face dimension measures 5" wide, the profile consists of two, evenly spaced, 2-1/2" on center, 1/4" wide, half round beads with a 1/8" wide chamfer on each side. When two pieces of lumber are joined, they create a 1/2" comprehensive profile area. The beads are recessed below the surface by .020"; this will allow the moulding to be sanded after production and eliminate any burnishing of the bead that may have been caused by the machine's pressure element during the milling operation.
