The log shaped profile consists of a 4-57/64" radius arc with a 11/16" tall area on each side of the plank that contain a tongue and groove joint for installing the boards. When two milled pieces of lumber are joined together they create a five inch face dimension with 1/32" of void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the boards during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
This Cad generated Dxf file contains three skillfully drafted moulding template designs for creating custom moulding knives for this creative log siding pattern. All our innovative moulding profiles have a proven unbroken C.N.C. tool path expediting the template making and knife grinding process.
