Slip Tongue Flooring Spline 1/4" - 1

This functional 1/4" - 1 slip tongue flooring spline measures .500" wide by .250" thick. The simplistic profile is rectangular with 1/8" bullnose edges. This is an essential item in the installation of all hardwood flooring. The intent is to allow changing of direction during the installation of hardwood borders, such as an inlay of different species of lumber or in larger rooms; it allows the flooring installation by more than one person at a time. Glue this small spline into the groove side of the flooring to make a tongue; now, bidirectional installation is possible. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while tripling production in a third of the time with this unique split three flooring spline.
