Tongue & Groove 15/32" - 2

This 15/32" - 2 tongue-and-groove blind-nailing joint measures 0.468" in thickness, enabling machining from resawn six-quarter lumber. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder or shaper used to cut the pattern. There is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes of relative humidity. When two pieces of machined lumber are joined, they create a 19/64" wide, rounded-edge v-joint between the merged boards. The uniquely designed profile comprises an offset-centered tongue-and-groove that allows the groove side to be secured before the tongue is inserted.
