Tongue & Groove 9/16" - 1

This 9/16" - 1 tongue & groove paneling measures .562" in thickness; the width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The profile comprises a 15/64" tall by 1/4" wide groove on the right and a 15/64" tall by 15/64" wide tongue on the left; both sides have a 1/8" wide by 1/8" deep forty-five-degree beveled edge. When two pieces of milled lumber join, they create a 1/4" wide by 1/8" deep v-groove on the face side of the merged boards. There is a .006" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the lumber during seasonal changes in relative humidity. The suggested rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 1/4" larger in width than the sought-after milled dimension.
