This 9/16" - 2 tongue & groove paneling measures .562" in thickness, the width can be milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder/shaper used to cut the pattern. The profile is composed of a 3/16" tall by 9/32" wide groove on the right, and a 3/16" tall by 1/4" wide tongue on the left, both sides have a 1/8" wide by 1/8" deep beveled edge. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they create a 1/4" wide by 1/8" deep v-groove on both face sides of the merged boards. There is a .008" void in the joint area for expansion and contraction of the lumber during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
