Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 49

This 3/4" - 49 channel siding measures .750" in thickness, and the width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the moulder/shaper used to mill the pattern. The profile is also referred to as gap siding; it is comprised of an offset groove measuring 1/2" wide by 1/4" thickness with a 1/8" deep dado for the tongue to fit into when joined. The tongue side measures 1/2" wide by 1/4" thickness, but is not offset like the groove side. There is a .010" void built into the design of the joint, this will create a snug fit when assembled as well as adapt to seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined, they make a 3/8" wide by 1/4" deep channel on the face side of the merged boards.
