Tongue & Groove 3/4" - 75

This double-sided 3/4" - 75 nickel board siding measures .750" in thickness, and the width dimension can be any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to mill the pattern. The profile is commonly referred to as nickel board siding. This name is derived from the gap width being about the same thickness dimension as a nickel, which measures about .074". The female side is comprised of a 1/4" tall by 5/16" deep groove, the male side consists of 1/4" tall by 3/8" wide tongue with a .014" void area to allow for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. When two pieces of lumber are joined, they create a 1/16" wide by 1/4" deep channel on both face sides of the merged boards.
