This unique 3/4" - 88 channel/gap siding measures .750" thickness, allowing the use of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The blind nail profile composes a 1/2" wide by 1/4" tall offset tongue with a 1/8" by 1/8" notch and a 5/8" deep by 1/4" wide offset groove. When two pieces of machined lumber get joined, they create a decorative 1/8" wide dado on the face with a 1/32" gap on the bottom side. There is a .006" void in the joint for expansion and contraction during seasonal changes in relative humidity.
