This 3/4" - 90 v-gap siding measure .750" thickness, allowing any sized width blank of four-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. It comprises a 1/4" tall by 17/64" broad tongue with a 7/32" wide by 5/32" deep chamfered edge. The opposite side retains a groove measuring 17/64" tall by 5/16" deep with the same sized beveled edge. When two pieces of machined lumber join, they create a decorative 7/16" wide by 5/32" deep v-groove with a .010" void in the tongue and groove area for expansion and contraction of the wood during seasonal changes in relative humidity. There is also a 1/32" gap on the underside for tight fit assurance on the face side when assembled.
