Bed Mould 3-13/16"

This bed mould, 3-13/16", measures 3.812" wide by .750" thick. The lovely profile features a 1-7/64" radius arc at the top, connected to an 11/32" tall vertical fillet in the center, joined to a 13/16" radius cove, with an attached 21/32" wide horizontal fillet on the bottom of the design. The spring angles get fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; search our bevels category by these degrees to find two back bevel cutters appropriate for this lovely bed moulding design. These specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-11/32" tall with a projection of 3" wide. Two high points in the detail were intentionally positioned on the same level plane. This specialized design feature provides excellent hold-down conditions while milling on an industrial moulder, providing the pressure shoe is set parallel to the machine bed plates.
