This traditional 2-3/4" - 36 door/window casing measures 2.750" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The distinctive profile originated in a hundred-year-old Cape Cod-style home in Rhode Island. The pattern replicates the old-world craftsmanship of yesteryear. The profile design is comprised of a two-stepped ogee cascading downward by the use of two straight line segments, the first one measuring 13/16" and the middle one 1-1/16" wide. Both sides have 3/64" eased edges to minimize damage in shipment and to aid in the finishing process. We have a larger version of the same profile for your review and consideration, door/window casing 3.687" - 5, the difference in width size was added in the straight area in the center.
