This elegant 2-1/2" - 16 chair rail measures 2.500" wide by .687" thickness, permitting the pattern to be milled out of four-quarter lumber. The graceful profile is composed of an 11/64" cove and a 3/16" broad flat line segment on the top left, joined to a free-flowing three tangent radii s-shaped curvature in the center. Attached to a 5/32" raised fillet with a small angled drop in elevation, connected to a 13/64" ovolo leaving a 5/64" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
