This 5-1/2" - 7 symmetrical chair rail measures 5.500" width by .750" thickness, permitting the use of a 5-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The balanced profile contains a 3-1/2" wide by 1/4" deeply sunk fillet in the center, flanked by one-inch wide raised fillets with 3/64" eased edges on all four corners. We offer a smaller version of this profile for your review and consideration, chair rail 3.500" - 40.
