Cove Moulding 4-5/16" - 1

This modest cove molding 4-5/16" - 1 measure 4.327" wide by .875" thickness, necessitating the use of five quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The unpretentious terminating profile is composed of a 1/2" tall vertical line segment on the top left, attached to a shallow 1-1/2" concave semicircle tangent to an 8-1/2" radius cove in the center, joined to a 45/64" vertical line perpendicular to a 3/4" wide horizontal line on the bottom right side of the design. To obtain even hold down points while milling, the set spring angles are fixed at sixteen and seventy-four degrees, these particular back bevels keep the inner section of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 4" tall with a projection of 1-3/4" wide.
