This hefty 5-1/4" - 4 cove mould measures 5.258" wide by 1.000" thick, requiring a 5-1/2" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling, sprung (lying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The symmetrical terminating profile features a four-inch-radius cavetto in the center. The middle attaches to a 3/4" tall vertical line at the top left and a 3/4" broad line at the bottom right of the pattern. The spring angles are at 45 degrees ; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific angle positions lock in the installed height at 3-23/32" tall with a 3-23/32" projection across the top.
