Crown 2-5/8" - 1

This small 2-5/8" - 1 ornate crown mould measures 2.625" width by .687" thickness, permitting the pattern to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber on an industrial-grade molder. The decorative terminating profile contains an 11/32" tall vertical line on the top left. Attached to a beautiful free-flowing two tangent radius cyma recta with a 3/32" vertical fillet, merged with a 1/4" cove and a 1/8" broad line segment in the center. The remaining portion of the detail consists of a 29/64" tall convex semicircular arc joined to two sets of perpendicular lines on the bottom left side of the design. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 2-1/8" tall with a projection of 1-9/16" across the top.
