This small tall crown moulding 2-5/8" - 17 measures 2.636" width by .750" thickness, requiring a 2-7/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The crafted terminating profile retains a 1/2" vertical fillet connected to a 3/8" tall by 5/16" wide notch on the top left. The rabbet attaches to a 15/32" concave semicircle tangent off a 1/4" convex arc, creating the cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature attaches to a 3/8" by 3/8" set of perpendicular lines on the design's bottom right corner. The spring angles are fixed at thirty and sixty degrees, these precise back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the height position at 2-1/4" tall with a 1-3/8" projection across the top.
