Crown 2-7/8" - 4

This lovely 2-7/8" - 4 crown mould measures 2.875" width by .750" thickness allowing the use of four-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial-grade molder. The elegant detail contains a 1/2" tall convex arch with a 5/32" vertical line segment on the top left. The fillet connects to a 1-59/64" concave arc that merges with a decorative 5/32" radius bead in the center. The lower section retains a 7/64" high by 3/8" broad perpendicular lines on the bottom right side of the design. The spring angles are fixed at thirty and sixty degrees, these precise back bevels keep the inner sections of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling as well as set the installed height at 2-7/16" tall with a projection of 1-17/32" wide.
