Crown 3-1/16" - 8

This ornate 3-1/16" - 8 crown mould measures 3.048" width by .687" thickness, permitting a 3-5/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The graceful supporting profile contains a 9/32" half-circle joined to an 11/32" vertical fillet on the top left. The vertical line connects to a 15/16" radius cove in the center, joined to a 7/64" wide by 1/4" tall perpendicular notch and a 9/32" ovolo flanked by tiny fillets with a 7/64" flat line on the design's bottom right corner. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; in addition, they lock in the installed height at 2-1/2" tall with a 1-3/4" projection across the top.
