Crown 7" - 27

This special crown molding measures 7.000" width by .813" thickness, enabling the use of four quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The colonial-themed terminating profile contains a 5/8" tall vertical line on the top left. The line connects to a free-flowing two tangent radius cyma recta in the center. The lower portion of the design consists of a 23/64" tall by 3/16" deep perpendicular lines, joined to a 1-1/4" cove that's flanked by a 15/64" vertical line above and a 13/32" flat line on the bottom right corner of the pattern. The belly of the profile is recessed below the four hold-down points by .020"; this will eliminate any burnish marks that the pressure shoe may cause on the machinery. The fixed spring angles were set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 5-9/16" tall with a projection of 4-1/4" across the top.
