Crown 8-3/8" - 2

This elegant 8-3/8" - 2 crown mould measures 8.375" wide by .812" thickness. The pattern will require the use of an 8-5/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The gorgeous supporting profile contains a 1-5/32" convex arc joined to a 9/16" vertical line segment on the top left. The short line connects to a 1-47/64" concave semicircle tangent to a 2-1/64" convex arc, creating a free-flowing cyma recta in the center. The lower section has a 35/64" vertical line attached to a 1-1/16" cove with a 17/32" flat line on the design's bottom right side. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed. These specific angles also lock in the height of 5-15/16" tall with a 5-29/32" projection across the top.
