Window Stool 5-1/4"
This basic 5-1/4" window sill measures 5.250" wide by one inch thick, requiring the use of five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The simplistic profile comprises a four-and-one-half-inch-wide by one-quarter-inch-deep rabbet on the bottom side, leaving a three-quarter-inch-wide line segment on the right side of the pattern. The profile is oriented on the molder with the thick edge up against the inside fix fence and the flat side down on the bed plates. This will allow the pressure shoe to be moved laterally forward and placed down in the rabbeted area.
