Door Cope & Stick 2-1/4" - 1
Door Cope & Stick 2-1/4" - 1
This ogee door cope & stick moulding 2-1/4" - 1 measures 2.250" thickness, the width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the shaper used to cut the pattern. The rough lumber blanks for this detail will most likely be glued together from smaller thicknesses of lumber such as four quarter material. The profile is composed of a 17/32" wide by 15/32" tall tongue and groove joint flanked by a 3/8" vertical line, connected to two tangent 15/64" radiuses creating the ogee that transitions into a 3/16" tall line at the top and bottom of the pattern. There is .007" of void in the joint to allow excess glue to escape when the male and female pieces are being assembled.
Our high precision acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail, while simultaneously prolonging the milling time between sharpening. All our innovative profiles have a proven unbroken cnc (computer numerical control) tool path expediting the production process.
