This eight-inch exterior door jamb measures 8.000" wide by 1.250" thick. The profile is comprised of a 5-13/16" wide horizontal fillet with a 3/64" radius edge that transitions downward 1/2" to a 2-3/16" broad straight degment with a 1/16" radius edge. The saw kerf for weather stripping is machined by a universal cutterhead. In contrast, machining on a table saw after the milling process.
