Panel Mould 2-3/8" - 1

This beautiful 2-3/8" - 1 panel mould measures 2.375" wide by .875" thickness, the pattern can be milled from four quarter lumber if the molder's metal feed rollers are kept in the profile area. The detail is comprised of a 19/32" broad segment with a 11/64" vertical step on top, joined to a 3/64" wide sunk fillet that transitions into a three tangent radius cyma reversa, attached to a thumbnail shaped half circle and a 5/32" broad line with a small cyma recta on the thin side of the design. The backside rabbet measures 3/16" wide by 9/16" tall but can be adjusted axially to any specific needs.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the moulder bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend using a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these types of milling operations.
