This double 1/4" radius edge - 10 measures 1.062" thickness; the final width is made to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to mill the pattern. The knives will be capable of cutting two 1/4" radii on a single edge of a piece of lumber measuring 1-1/16" thickness. The acrylic template can be flipped over and referenced on either side of the profile grinder to manufacture a set of right- or left-handed blades for both vertical cutter heads on the machine; this will enable all four sides of the lumber to be milled simultaneously.
Our purple colored ceramic blend grinding wheel, hogging at 2000 rpm with a twenty-five-degree back clearance angle, will rough grind a set of high-speed steel cutters in a minimal amount of time.
